BIOGRAPHY
With 15 years of experience in communications planning
and corporate writing, Amanda has helped numerous companies
and individuals achieve their strategic and business
objectives through effective corporate communications.
Prior to launching
ADC in January 2003, Amanda was a senior strategist/project
manager with a top Vancouver public relations firm,
where she created and implemented effective communications
strategies for clients such as Molson, TELUS, TransLink,
Purdy’s Chocolates, the Department of Canadian
Heritage, B.C. Broadcasters Group, City of Vancouver
and the Greater Vancouver Hotel Employers Association.
Amanda also spent five years as director
of communications for a provincial product stewardship
program and five years as communications manager for
a national clothing designer/manufacturer.
Her writing experience includes a diverse
range of communications plans, employee communications
materials, media materials, speeches and presentations,
reports and proposals, newsletters, brochures, print/radio
advertising copy and a number of published articles.
Along with her roster of corporate clients,
Amanda provides communications strategy and writing
services to several non-profit organizations, including
Vancouver’s Cinderella Project (www.thecinderellaproject.com).
